Schaeffler Group Again Partner of the AUDI Motor Sports Team at the DTM 2008
The Schaeffler Group will again participate in the DTM 2008 as partner of AUDI. When the lights turn green for the season¡¯s first race in Hockenheim on April 13, popular DTM champion Mattias Ekstroem will for the first time drive the new Red Bull A4 with the LuK look¡¡À to defend his title. Mike Rockenfeller, who ranked 12th last year, will enter the race with last year¡¯s car with the green INA diamond¡¡À and a high level of motivation to finish with a high ranking.
Exclusively and already prior to the official presentation in Duesseldorf on April 6, the car of DTM champion Mattias Ekstroem has been presented last night at the AUDI booth at the 78th International Motor Show in Geneva.
The Schaeffler Group, with its brands LuK, INA and FAG, has been supporting the AUDI motorsports team at the DTM since 2006. Apart from the Formula 1 series, the DTM events undoubtedly belong to the highlights of the international racing calendar
