International Academic Conference On Aircraft Bearings Held in Beijing
International Academic Conference on High Precise Aircraft Bearings was held by Beijing Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics at the Conference Center of Beihang University on July 13, 2007.
There experts from BARDEN, a leader in super precision ball bearing in UK, were invited to present 11 reports on precise instrument for aeronautics and astronautics application, the design, manufacture, material, lubrication and maintenance of gyro and others precise devices. 70 representatives from factories, institutes, colleges, military enterprise, totally 34 units participated in this one-day conference.
This is the second time for Beijing Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics to organize such conference. Last year, they invited experts from FAG Company to give a two-day report on bearing design, calculation, life, material, lubrication, etc.
It is believed that these two conferences will play on active role in the research and development of aircraft bearings.
