SKF (Shanghai ) Industry Service Center Located in Baoshan Industrial Zone
SKF (Shanghai) Industry Service and Shanghai Baoshan Industrial Zone reached an agreement on July 9, 2007.
SKF (Shanghai ) Industry Service , a joint venture between SKF (China) Investment Co. Ltd. and Shanghai Baosteel Equipment Maintenance Co. Ltd, is set up for supplying remanufacturing services of bearings and related products used within the Baosteel Group Cooperation and maintenance service for large bearings. It will be one of the platforms for Baosteel Group Cooperation to build a "green" steel company.
Remanufacturing of bearings and related products is in principle a re-cycling program and a major contribution to environment sustainability and life cycle cost savings through extended service life, increased availability allowing stock reductions, failure analysis and investigations generating corrective actions and machine upgrades.
